TUM

In the past the conferences of the Sections of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology have represented an important meeting opportunity for researchers, especially the younger ones, to present their work in the different fields of biochemistry, fostering discussion and professional and cultural growth. During our National Conference held in Caserta it was decided to rediscover the pleasure of being amongst ourselves, organizing meetings of the regional groups, in our case TUM, which includes researchers from three regions, Tuscany, Umbria and Marche and the Polytechnic University of Marche was chosen as the location for the first meeting. The idea is precisely to encourage sharing of topics covered by the studies carried out by researchers operating in our three regions. And it is up to our younger colleagues to accomplish all this by presenting their scientific contributions. However, the aim is also to entrust TUM organization and management, directly to the younger colleagues, many of whom enthusiastically accepted the invitation to speak at the meeting held in Ancona in 2019.
