Membranes
The "Membrane" group shares research interests on structure and function of membrane components, transport mechanisms, role of membranes in signal transduction, interactions with intra/extra-cellular components, remodelling, fusion, trafficking, bioenergetics and metabolism. Applications range from human pathology linked with membrane component alterations to innovative technology and industrial fallout. The group promotes membrane knowledge advancement with conferences and educational activities.
