FISV
The Federazione Italiana Scienze della Vita (FISV) gathers twenty Italian scientific societies operating in the fields of life sciences, bringing together some 10,000 Italian researchers. The adhering societies together promote the development and the public image of scientific research, at national and international levels, in the distinct life sciences branches (human, vegetal, environment, ...) through workshops, courses and the FISV national congress, which is organized every second year.

FEBS
The Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) was established in 1964, to foster meetings among the European biochemical societies through contacts, collaborations, information and researchers exchange, and international actions. FEBS organizes an annual Congress attended by a wide international audience of biochemists and scientists from related fields.

IUBMB
The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) brings together biochemists from 75 different countries, worldwide. The IUBMB is devoted to promoting research and education in biochemistry and molecular biology and places particular attention to promoting opportunities for trainees and in areas where biomolecular sciences are less well developed.

EMBO
The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO, composed of about 1900 scientists) promotes excellence in the life sciences in Europe and beyond. The major aims of EMBO are to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers, stimulate the exchange of scientific information, and help building a research environment where scientists can achieve their best work. It funds programs to help young scientists, talented researchers, international workshops, and courses, as well as helps shaping the European science policies.
